Again, all I can say is we have a weird view of Democracy in South Africa!

With a hastily organised meeting at Jabulani Stadium and the South African Nation Convention underway at the same time the true colours of the SABC showed.

The interviewer asked Bantu Holimisa to explain the two motions he raised during the press conference of the South African Nation Convention.

He explained strongly that the first concerned his complaint that the SABC were biased in the air time they gave the ANC compared to opposition parties. As he started to explain his second motion he was cut off and the SABC switched to the Jabulani stadium to show ANC supporters “vivaing”, singing and dancing in advance of Mr Zuma’s speech.

The amazing thing was the blatancy of it and the lack of any response.

I have to agree. | As he was arguing this point, believe it or not, the interviewer cut him short again to cross to Jacob ZUma spewing ANC rhetoric at the Soweto meeting. | When they crossed back to the studio, Holimisa was no longer there, not even his chair remained.”

Considering that he was gifted fifth place by Glok ( I am waiting to see the conspiracy theories here) with a few hundred meters to the finish line and had far superior reliability and a lack of stupid pit incidents – I really don’t see it as an emphatic performance by Hamilton.

IEC Chairperson Brigalia Bam said the commission was ready to assist the ANC with mediation

I thought the IEC had the authority and the power to enforce things and didn’t have to molly coddle the ANC – it is after all INDEPENDENT! Did they assist the IFP when it was faced Floor Crossing losses?

I’m not putting anyone’s words up today but rather reflecting that, since this all started it doesn’t seem that anyone has said anything except how bad the others are. I feel that

And now Ramaphosa pleads guilty to what everyone is accusing the breakaways of – sitting in a system they are not happy with. Obviously its not simple black or white – things change and develop and reach a breaking point.

Thought I was going to use the industry category but it sounds like Ramaphosa is more a politician now!

Yes it comes from the ANC but really makes sense!
